Vindcode.nl hecht grote waarde aan jouw privacy en de bescherming van jouw persoonsgegevens in overeenstemming met de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG / GDPR). Hieronder lichten we toe hoe we jouw gegevens verwerken en beveiligen.

1. Geregistreerde Eigenaars van Vindcodes

Wanneer je een account aanmaakt op Vindcode.nl, bewaren we jouw naam, e-mailadres en optioneel jouw telefoonnummer om Vindcodes te beheren. Deze gegevens worden bewaard zolang jouw account actief is. Je kunt jouw account en alle bijbehorende Vindcodes op elk gewenst moment via jouw dashboard verwijderen, waarna jouw gegevens direct permanent worden gewist.

2. Anonieme QR-Dienst (Anoniem gebruik)

Voor onze anonieme QR-codes maken we gebruik van een unieke, symmetrische match-en-reset-procedure waarbij geen permanent gebruikersaccount vereist is:

  • Gegevensverwerking: Bij het scannen van een QR-code registreren we jouw e-mailadres, optioneel telefoonnummer, en IP-adres (voor fraudepreventie en snelheidsbegrenzing).
  • Directe Match & Reset: Zodra zowel de eigenaar als de vinder de code hebben gescand (precies twee unieke scans), koppelt ons systeem beide partijen per e-mail. De actieve, ruwe scanregistraties worden onmiddellijk gearchiveerd en gereset, waardoor de QR-code direct klaar is voor een eventuele volgende verliescyclus.
  • Automatische AVG Opschoning (14-dagen bewaartermijn): Om te voldoen aan het principe van minimale gegevensverwerking, worden alle succesvolle scans en de contactgegevens in de match-logs na 14 dagen permanent gewist of volledig geanonimiseerd (gehasht).
  • Inactieve Scans: Losse, niet-gematchte scanregistraties worden na 180 dagen automatisch verwijderd.

3. Cookies

We maken uitsluitend gebruik van één functionele cookie voor inlogsessies om te onthouden dat je bent ingelogd. We gebruiken geen tracking-, analytische- of marketingcookies.

4. Beveiliging en Ontvangers

Wij verkopen of delen jouw persoonsgegevens nooit met commerciële derde partijen. Gegevens worden uitsluitend gebruikt om de vinder en eigenaar met elkaar in contact te brengen. Al het verkeer verloopt via een beveiligde SSL/TLS-verbinding.

5. Jouw Rechten

Vindcode.nl values your privacy and the protection of your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Below we explain how we process and secure your information.

1. Registered Owners of Tracecodes

When you create an account on Vindcode.nl, we store your name, email address, and optionally your phone number to manage your Tracecodes. This data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated Tracecodes at any time via your dashboard, after which your data is immediately permanently deleted.

2. Anonymous QR Service (Accountless Use)

For our anonymous QR codes, we utilize a unique, symmetrical match-and-reset flow that does not require an account:

  • Data Processing: When scanning an anonymous QR code, we log your email, optional phone number, and IP address (for security and rate-limiting).
  • Immediate Match & Reset: As soon as both owner and finder register their contact details (exactly two unique scans), our system introduces both parties via email. The raw scan registrations are immediately soft-deleted and the QR code is reset, making it ready for future use.
  • Automatic GDPR Purge (14-day Retention): To comply with data minimization principles, successfully matched scan registrations and contact logs are permanently deleted or fully anonymized (hashed) after 14 days.
  • Stale Registrations: Unmatched individual scans are automatically deleted after 180 days.

3. Cookies

We only use a functional session cookie for authentication/login purposes to remember that you are logged in. We do not use any tracking, analytical, or marketing cookies.

4. Security and Third Parties

We do not sell or share your personal data with any third-party marketing services. Data is strictly processed to connect finders and owners. All connections are secured via SSL/TLS encryption.

5. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, restrict, or request the deletion of your personal data. You can invoke these rights at any time by contacting us via our Contact Page.
